Parks Passes

I've got a National Pass through next year. I don't have a state pass. The state is bankrupt, so they're not selling any while they revise their fee schedule (makes a whole lot of sense to me!). They're thinking of closing a hundred or so parks. Tragedy. Actual day use / vehicle day use fees are kind of up there. So beware the allure of the California state park. Alternately, go see them while you can, they may become total wilderness in the near future.
